In
1830 it was discovered by Dr. Carlos Matteucci that the human tissues
discharge electricity. Since then many experiments have proved his
findings and now microcurrent therapy finds its wide area of
application. Acupuncturists, chiropractors, holistic doctors and
practitioners use microcurrent
machine to treat many
ailments. It has been found that an injured tissue restricts the flow
of these electric currents hence slows the process of healing. With
the application of the microcurrent device to local area with the
help of probes and electrodes accelerated the process of healing.
This concept was applied to treat various ailmnents like post
surgical traumatic pains, facial toning, arthirites, treatment of
wounds, soft tissue and bone fracture and several internal injuries.
It was then found that with the help of the micro therapy it enhanced
the healing rate from 250% to 350%.
However,
microcurrent therapy found its application in the field of aesthetics
accidently. When some patients for paralysis were treated using
microcurrents, the physician found that the face of his patients
looked much smoother and toned after the treatments. This led to the
more advancement in the fields of anti-aging. Electronic Facial
Machines based on the principle of microcurrent, known to be as
facial
Microcurrent machines. Combining
micro current therapies with other acupuncture and light therapies,
it showed remarkably better results. These microcurrent
machine stimulate light
electric signal which is a near duplicate to the electric signals
generated by the body. And when this microcurrent is applied to the
damaged area, it restores the flow of electrical signals, therefore,
enhancing the process of healing. When talking about facial toning,
the application of these currents to the skin with fine lines or
wrinkles, sagging muscles or lost elasticity provide a workout and
stimulate collagen and elastin production. Collagen and elastin are
essential proteins needed for the skin to remain youthful and
glowing.
A high percentage of health care practitioners use microcurrent machines for a wide range of uses, including non-needle acupuncture, treatment of muscular degeneration, facial rejuvenation, treating eye diseases and fracture acceleration and even relief of many internal organ and emotional disorders.
